The Ascot Retractor System is a flexible, self-retaining retractor designed to provide surgeons and theatre personnel with excellent visualisation and unobstructed access to the surgical site. The retractor system operates manually with self-locking function. It consists of a retractor ring, movable screws and retractor hooks.

The retractor ring is positioned around the surgical incision. Elastic hooks are placed on the tissue and expanded to open the surgical site. Hooks are secured under tension to the retractor ring at multiple segments around the ring edge, allowing controlled and even retraction
